Extended Hours
We offer late consultations on Monday and Thursday evenings between 6.30 and 8.00pm.
Emergency Calls
The doctors
in the partnership are available between 8.00am and 6.00pm, Monday to Friday.
After 6.00pm, before 8.00am and at weekends, the local deputising service is available.
In the case of an emergency out of normal surgery hours, telephone 213060. You will
be put through to the deputising service/primary care Centre. The service should
only be used in an emergency and should not be called if it is possible to wait
until the next surgery.
Primary Care Centre
In case of emergency outside of surgery hours, an additional service is available.
The Rossendale Primary Care Centre is based at Rossendale General Hospital and
is open at the following times:

All calls to the Centre are dealt with by specially trained nurses, who give advice,
as appropriate, or will ask you to attend the Primary Care Centre.
The Centre is staffed by a receptionist and a general practitioner.
Access
for the Disabled
There is access by way of a ramp
at the front of the building. There is a lift which will take patients to the
first floor consultation rooms. Car parking for the disabled is available at the
front of the building. The practice has a disabled toilet situated on the ground
floor. |
